Stocks are the asset.
Options are the strategy.

Holding a tokenized stock is one position. Bitstock adds the other one: lock the stock, name a strike, an expiry and a premium, and someone takes the other side. Every contract is covered by collateral already sitting in the protocol — contract for contract, no margin calls, no liquidations.

Put your stock to work

01

Lock stock

Deposit a tokenized stock into the protocol. It stays on chain, in your series, and it is what covers the call you are about to write.

02

Write the call

Choose the strike, the expiry and the premium that fit your view. Your offer sits on the book until somebody takes it, and you can pull back whatever is unsold.

03

Earn the premium

The buyer pays it the moment they fill your offer, straight to your wallet. The locked stock covers the position until expiry.

Two sides. One market.

Writer

Sells the right

Locks the stock, collects the premium up front, keeps everything the strike does not take at expiry.

Risk: the upside above the strike.

Buyer

Buys the upside

Pays the premium, holds a transferable token, takes the intrinsic value at expiry if the stock is through the strike.

Risk: the premium. Nothing else.

Settlement

European

One price, at expiry, from the same Chainlink feed the market is quoted on.

Collateral

100%

Stock for a call, cash for a put. Locked before the offer is on the book.

Protocol fee

1%

Of the premium only, capped at 2% in the contract. Half of it streams to BITS stakers.
